Local News 1.Wong Hing, who was prosecuted for battery, has been acquitted. 2.Chinese, Chou, was arrested for running a gambling house. He was fined $50. The 4 gamblers were fined $10 each 3.The 3 owners of Chinese restaurant, Shing Kee, prosecuted 2 Chinese, Wong & Chan & 2 Canadians for investigating & copying their property. After investigation, the case has been dropped because the reason for the defendants to do that was because the owner did not pay rent.
