News from Other Cities 1.Victoria: Preliminary hearing of the case about The New China Post 2.New Westminster: During a police raid at a gambling house, police arrested over 30 Canadian & 2 Chinese. The following day, a KMT executive gave $50 for the police head, requesting him to cancel the charges. When questioned, the KMT executive said that he was not connected with the case at all. However, he was dismissed, and was only not released after paying a $5,000 bail. 3.Toronto: Mr. Wong *** has arrived.
