News from Other Cities 1.St. John: An executive member of the Kuomintang was arrested last week in Halifax for offending drug regulations. He was prosecuted for mailing $2,000 worth of opium to Halifax. The defendant pleaded guilty, and will be sentenced later on this week. The 2 other Chinese arrested in connection with this case will be tried later. 2.New York: The Sept. of Social Welfare has carried on a survey in Chinatown on unemployed Chinese workers.
