Toronto: the chief columnist and manager of the Hung-chung newspaper ( yfy l& £fj$L ) were prosecuted for battery last year. They have been acquitted and the case cancelled. 2. Toronto: 2 gangsters started a fight in a barber shop in Chinatown. They were stopped by both Chinese and white "spectators". 3. Seattle: a robber got away with $539 from a Chinese by using some kind of poisonous gas. The witnesses were not able to catch the robber.
