1. A general meeting for speech training will be held by the Freemasons Public Speaking club ( '<W fy- ) tomorrow. The topic for discussion is: The Relationship between the nation and its people. 2. The Province encourages Canada to sell wheat to East Asians. 1. Duncan: The CKT urges people to join the Assoc. There was a party on Feb. 21 to welcome new members. 2. Toronto: The CKT had a party to welcome new members. 3. Duncan: Dart-coon Club springy banquet, feb. 23. 4. New York: Mai La/J-fong (J^ld ^ ) is warmly received in the U.S. 5. Victoria: The Chinese government in Nanking has selected 42 university students to come to Canada and the U.S. to study the economic, political and commercial conditions. The students are due to arrive tomorrow. They will be taken around by Chinese in Victoria. 6. Los Angeles ( ): 3 Chinese farmers were murdered while they were taking a nap in the garden. When the police discovered the$o,the 3 bodies were piled together. Their heads were broken and throats slit. Inside the house, the boxes and trunks were in disarray. It seems that this was done by non-Chinese people.
