News from other citites 1. Kamloops: The CKT held a ceremony to commemorate the 5 ancestors ( 2. Port Coquitlam: A fire broke out at a sawmill not far from this town. A Chinese worker was burnt to death. His body has not been recovered. Another Chinese was severely injured while another was wounded slightly. They are now under treat-men in the hospital. Over half of the workers in that saw mill are Chinese. 3. Victoria: Kong-chow Reading Club )- 22nd meeting for speech. 4. San Francisco: CBA was informed by the Consulate that a charity show would be performed to raise money for purchasing new furniture and equipment for the Consulate. CBA questioned, however, that if the government hadno money, where did they get the money from in the civil war in China. 5. € : The Chung-hua Morning Post ( ^ * $ ) published by Freemasons Organizations (___./> ) has been well received. The organization is now selling more stock to expand the paper.
