- According to the Chinese Consulte in Vancouver, regulations re the iasuance of passports have been revised: (a) Chinese living abroad must apply to the Consulte before returning to China in order to obtain visa in triplicate for returning to China; (b) when applying for a returning visa, the individual must produce his visa for entering the country, except for Chinese born abroad; (c) An application fee of $6 and 3-4 inch photographs should accompany the application for the visa. Students and workers half price. In addition, a $2 fee(stamp)for visitors, $1 for students, and 30c for workers, must be (d) If the Consulate has discovered illegal material carried by the applicant, the officers should report to customs. 2. Its objectives are as follows: a. to investigate the conditions of overseas Chinese from Kwangtung; b. to assist overseas Chinese who wish to invest in business or real estate in Kwangtung; c. to assist and proteet Chinese who wish to return to China; d. to assist and guide Chinese who wish to return to China for educational p poses; e. to answer questions pertaining to law and regulations.
