The H.Q. of Oi-lin Kung-so ( ) announced the result of the election for new functionaries and completed the duty handover ceremony yesterday. 5. Wong Kong-ha H.Q. Fraser Mill: Saturday night, a thief sneaked into the worker's residence in a sawmill and stole away over 10 chickens kept by a Chinese employee. When the theft was discovered, the thief had already gone a long time ago. 3. Nanaimo: 16 Chinese were arrested for operating a gambling house and for gamfe ling. They were fined $575 altogether.
