The Union for Chinese Chefs ( ) completed its duty handover yesterday. 3. The manager of the Kam Li-yuan ( ), Mr. Li ( ) was hospitalized since last autumn. He passed away yesterday afternoon. news from other cities 1. Toronto: Mr. Li Mai-chau ( ) attended a press conference on Jan.6. Mr. Li is only 27 years old, but he is now a reporter for the largest English newspaper run by Chinese. Moreover, he is the chief commentator for 18 overseas Chinese newspapers in 9 countries and for two monthly papers. He also objects to the dictatorship of the KMT.
