- March 14 Wednesday P.I 1) An article commenting on Chinese discrimination and possible solutions. P.3 2) CBA (Van.) had postponed the opening date of the recreation centre to March 24th. 3) Consul Po had requested his resignation due to lack of financial support from the Chin- ese government. The external affairs department had however pleaded with him to stay and assured him of financial aid in the near future. 4) Ottawa news regarding anti-E. Asian L in parliament. 5) CBA (New Westminster), had received a letter from Consul Po assuring that he would persist in protesting restrictive regulations. He further requested the association give financial aid to the Chinese Consulate. 6) CKT (Hamilton). Opening ceremony on May 13th.
