- February. 23 Thursday p.2 1) CRT (Prince George) executive list. 2) CBA (Van.) rews re establishment of recreation centre in Chiantown. p.3 3) Yan Clan Ass'n ( ) had raised $68 for a clan member who was to be discharged from the mental hospital. 4) Kong Chow Ass'n (Van.) had raised funds for the mental patients. A general meeting was held to discuss fund disbursement. 5) CKT & Dart Coon Club (Toronto) New Year feast and executive inauguration ceremony. 6) CBA (New Westminster) a general meeting was held on Feb. 19 to discuss plans for protest ing against the restrictive price regulation on farm products. 7) Calgary news. The labour party had put forth a proposal whic .h prohibited the E. Asians from employing white girls. The Chinese therefore set up an association to protest this.
