Description
1) CBA (Van.) received some donations from a few Chinese for supporting the Chinese Consulate. 2) There was the rumor that the restaurant workers would soon be subject to the minimum wage regulation, in other words, those Chinese restaurant^ workers would be out of work soon since many owners would prefer to hire white workers once a fixed wage was set. There was also the saying tha the working hours would be reduced and that the restaurant owners were encouraged to hire whites only.
