Chinese Agricultural Association (Kamloops) invited Consul Luk and 2 reps, from Wah Kiu External Affairs Associations in Van. & Victoria to come over to Kamloops, Vernon and Kelowna to discuss plans for protest. A white grocery store owner asserted that he had to extend his working hours so as to compete with the Chinese. He further mentioned that if possible, he would avoid doing business with the Chinese.
