- The Consulate wrote to Wah Kin External Affairs Cttee encouraging the members to keep up their effort in protesting against all discriminatory proposals despite h£ the postponement, of Canadian merchants' trip to China. Wah Kiu External Affairs Cttee (Van) results of fund drive. The International Club had held a debate in "Imperialism and Capitalism as related to China". A number of Chinese participated in this. Kai Ping Association & Chee Duck Tong (Van) farewell to Lam Kow Mack Ass'n (Van) spring fest and office inauguration of the executives of its reading room. The Chief Consul General at Ottawa had appealed to the Canadian gov't re the 3 discriminatorv proposals.
