Description: August 21 Saturday p.3 1) Consul Ngai ( ) held a banquet for 60 associations' leaders and prominent Chinese. p.2 2) CBA (Van.) confirmed that $15000 raised funds were sent to China for relieving the on-strike workers rather than for the revolutionaries in the civil war. A copy of the certificate which indicated the sum sent to the workers' committee was published.
