- July 26 Monday p,3 1) Chinese Hospital Establishment Cttee. A number of fund raising executive were criticized for not showing up in the planned trip for looking for a suitable site for the hospital. 2) Tung Fook Tong (Van.) A general meeting for celebration of graduation of members's son from the university. 3) Fund raising bureau for Chung Shan Park. List of executives. 4) Victoria news. From Nov. 1 onwards, all lumber companies would carry out the low wage strategy, i.e. all workers would be paid 40£ an hour. The purpose of this new regulation was to eliminate E. Asian workers. It was blieved that the employers would pcefer white workers to E. AsiaHH as long as they were api paid the same rate.
