June 30 Wednesday p.2 1) CBA. (Van.) A reminder to the Chinese community regarding the Chinese Humiliation Day. All Chinese were urged to boserve that day as planned by the association, p.3 2) Overseas Chinese Educational Association for organizing picnics called for a meeting to discuss rearranging the association into an educational research organization. A financial report would also be made in the meeting. 3) A Chinese was arrested for smoking opium. 4) CRT (Vic.) film about the grand opening ceremony of the 5-ancestor Temple had been shown on June 26 and 27th. 5) A Chinese vegetable hawker was charged for bribing a policeman. 6) An article on observing the Chinese Humiliation Day.
