- May 7 Friday 1) An article on the difficult life endured by the overseas Chinese in B.C. 2) The United Chinese Students' Association of the Chinese Schools ( ^m. &jr 'SSJfy. £ y\W S&*" /'>a ^n Van°) All students were urged to attend a meeting on May 7 at CBA for commemorating the Chinese Humiliation Day (On May 7, 1915, China was forced by Japan to sign a humiliating treaty). 3) A statistical report on the proportion of land owned by E. Asians in S. Van. 4) CBA (Van.) urged the Chinese to give a hand in raising funds for the general hospital 5) 2 cases of Chinese drug offences.
