- December 22 P.I 1) CKT. Report on the speech for the opening ceremony of 5-ancestor Temple in Shanghai. P.3 2) CBA Van. A general meeting would be held on Dec. 22 to deal with the restrictive land buying/leasing bill. Influential people were requested to attend the meeting. 3) Overseas Chinese Agricultural H.Q. Van. Executive election on Dec. 20. Recently, the association was in preparation for protesting against the proposed land buying/leasing amendment. 4) Victoria news. Anti-drug squads had searched Chinese residences in Cumberland, Kimberley, and Duncan. 6 Chinese were arrested for possession of opium.
