- November 24 P.I 1) An article encouraging the building of Chinese Hospital. P.3 2) The Agricultural Department was going to propose the prohibition of E. Asians from buying/leasing land in the coming B.C. Legislative assembly meeting. CBA (Victoria and Van.) were prepared to fight against such restrictive law. 3) Shon Yee Hui - it was reported in the "Star" about the court hearing of the murder case of the 2 executives in May at a Shingle factory in Coquitlam. It was believed that the murder was caused by Shon Yee Hui which criticized the people in the area for handling $40,000 raised funds inappropriately. There was a fear that further court hearings would stir up unrest. 4) CKT St. Catherines. Executive list.
