October 20 P.3 1) Dart Coon Club Van. general meeting on Oct. 21. 2) CBA Van. released names of winners for the radios. 3) That Chinese who was charged for tempting white girls to do immoral activities was bailed out at $3000. See Oct. 29. 4) Vancouver Sun reported the birthday of Mr. Yip Sang who came to Vancouver during the railway construction period. 5) Piu Ying School Winnipeg. Report on the Confucius Day celebration Ott. 14th. 6) New Hestminster news. A number of Chinese women raised funds for relieving famine in China. $500 was sent to in Shanghai. 7) CKT Kamloops. On Oct. 17, a party for new members; on Oct. 18, talked about savings bonds. 8) Kai Ping members in welcomed the fund raising agents for school establishment and anti-bandit facilities. 9) CKT H.Q. Victoria - the Toronto branch needed more money to cover the general convention expenses, thus the H.Q. encouraged the branches to start fund drive. 10) Shon Yee Hui Victoria - executive list.
