- jSeptember 11 p.3 1) Sun Hiu news. A Chinese who had just returned to CMna wrote about the diffic- ulties when going through customs which was controlled by the communist party. Valuable belongings were confiscated. 2) CBA Van. Report onthe meeting on Sept. 10 re fund distribution. Letter from the distributing committee in China were read out as profcf of genuine distribution. Any person in doubt was welcome to check the financial statement of the assoc. CBA also asserted that it would check any trouble caused by the customs officers to the returning Chinese Canadians. 3) Victoria news. 26 Chinese drug offenders appealed to staying in Canada after their term in prison. Only 17 were permitted to stay while the rest were deported. 4) CKT Toronto. List of donors and organizers for the general convention. 5) CKT Victoria announced that Sept. 12 would be the commemoration day as well as the opening day for the 5-ancestor temple.
