CBA sent out fund raising groups to various associations. 3)The president of the United Scottish Association was charged for planning the kidnapping of . The association held a meeting to discuss how to appeal for him. 4)The appeal to Britain for releasing was rejected because the case had already been broughtto the supreme court which would give the final decision. 5)24 Chinese crewmen went on strike due to discriminative treatment. 6)CKT Victoria. Fund drive was organized for relieving workers in Shanghai. 7)News from Kelowna. Chinese held a general meeting at CKT to discuss the general strike in Shanghai and the case of 8)News from Victoria concerning fund raising for Hoysun High School. 9) News from Ottawa: The Labour Party had discussed the crisis in Shanghai with the prime minister. 10) CKT Winnipeg set up Pui Ying School ( ) for the Chinese.
