An article on the necessity to help the workers in Shanghai. Report on the kidnpaping of Enthusiasm of the Chinese in raising funds for the workers and students in Shanghai. CBA Van. : an executive meeting was held to discuss: (a) to turn down the request of the city government for participaing in the parade on Dominion Day; (b) the case of ; (c) to send telegrams to the prime minister of Britain and Canada and the Labour Party so that they could intervene into the dispute in Shanghai; (d) the Chinese Humiliation Day (Dominion Day) should be observed; (e) to request not to resign. CBA Van. - a talk on the massacre in Shanghai would be held at the Chinese Theatre.
