Report on the enthusiasm of the Chinese in donating funds for workers in Shanghai. News from Victoria. A representative from the anti-Asian association in Wash- ingtong came over to Victoria to discuss with B.C. Anti-Asian association about plans for chasing out the Asians. (Toronto) called a general meeting discussing the great humiliation suffered by the Chinese in Shanghai. CKT Victoria announced that a 3rd cross-Canada general convention would be held on August 30, in oronto instead of October 10. All maintenance fees for the convention should be sent to Toronto before August 20th. (b) Special arrange- mwnts would be made for those who wanted to attend the opening ceremony of the 5-ancestor temple in Shanghai on July 25th.
