October 6 (Mbnday) P.2 1) CBA (Van.) urged the Chinese to support the drama performance held by Ti Shing Shon Yee ^ ;f£/^jt^Association for raising funds for the flood victims. P.3 2) An executive meeting was held to discuss about rebuilding the Chinese Hospital. Continued report on the government's action in sweeping out the abuses in Chinatown. P.3 3) The city mayor and the chief police were scorned by Ig, *$. (an English newspaper?) for picking on the Chinese only. P.3 4) Two representatives from Ning Nam Agricultural University came to Vancouver to raise funds for the university. P. 3 5) The Chinese Vegetables Sellers' Association A^if) had planned to protest against the new law which prohibited them to do business after 6:00 each day and after 1:00 on Wednesday.
