October 1 (Wednesday) P.I 1) CKT (Victoria) An announcement regarding the dates for election of the executives. P. 3 2) A continued report on the murder of f^^ . His clan members had also raised a reward for arresting the assassin. It was now believed that the i j, rm& Tong War originated in Vancouver Island where IJf- had infuriated a certain significant Tong. There was now the problem of identifying the assassin because the witnesses were scared of revenge by the K tong concerned. 3) CKT (Lethbridge) announced that the opening ceremony and the 2nd cross- Canada general convention would be postponed to October 11.
