AUGUST 8 (FRIDAY) P.3 J) 2 Chinese were arrested for owning gambling joints in Windsor Hotel and 103 E. Pender Street. A number of Chinese were arrested for gambling. P.3 2) had advocated for the setting up of (sort of alabour union). The aim of which was to exchange ideas and knowledge and promote industries as well as to maintain mutual protection. ConstxHK£xiSS had already been written and members would be admitted soon. P.3 3) Kai Ping High School. & were greatly welcomed by Kai Ping members in & Hamilton. Though there were not too many Chinese there, a considerable amount of money was raised. P.3 4) The bureau for raising funds for Kai Ping High School (KAMLOOPS) thanked for the fund raising drama performance. The names of those who bought the tickets were released.
