- JULY 31 (THURSDAY) P.3 1) Lung Kong Kung Shan (CUMBERLAND). A banquet was held to welcome , etc. P.3 2) The bureau for raising funds «or Kai Ping High School (TORONTO). A general meeting was kh held on July 24 to welcome & who gave a long talk on their fund raising trip across Canada. After that, election for the permanent executives were made. President: Vice: P.3 3) The association for protesting against the restrictive Chinese immigration law ( in Vancouver) announced that an executive meeting would be held on August 5 at CBA to discuss the dissolution of the association. P.3 4) CKT (VICTORIA). 4. announcements were made on July 29. a. & would go back to Chinaii on August 14. Any gifts or mess- ages for them could be sent to the H.Q. before that date. b. All branches were advised to send the money that had been raised for building the 5-ancestor temple to China in time for the construction. c. All branches were requested to pay the debts back to the H.Q. d. was reappointed by the H.Q. to go from place to place to raise funds for buildin the ancestor temple and to collect debts from the branches.
