JULY 30 (WEDNESDAY) P.I 1) An article on the significance of the Chinese Public Hospital. The Chinese were encouraged to give help k in KHTJE carrying out the renovation work of the hospital. P.2 2) CBA (VANCOUVER). An executive meeting was held on July 29 to discuss the following: a. The financial state of the association. A detailed financial report had already been prepared by an accountant, but further investigation had to be made before the financial account could be published. b. The renovation work of the Chinese Public Hospital. More thorough discussion had to be made. c. Relief work for the floods in northern and southern parts of China. It was finally decided that a general meeting should be held on July 31 to discuss this. P.3 3) CKT(NANAIMO) & (CUMBERLAND). Warm welcome to , , About $2000 was raised for building the 5-ancestor temple.
