MAY 31 (SATURDAY) P.I 1) An article on setting up "t- ". All Chinese Canadians were urged to give support to such a set-up. P.3 2) CBA (VANCOUVER). & had discussed with the executives their methods for observing July 1. They pointed out that the Chinese in Victoria had agreed to do the following on July 1. a. Wear a badge to signify their discontent. b. Baxk A holiday for all Chinese. c. Both the Chinese and British flags would not be raised. d. Speeches would be made by CBA: Chinese Schools and the Chinese associations. P.3 3) announced that he was requested by Canadian Oriental Wine & Liquor Co. Ltd. to investigate the statements made by Oriental Wine Co. and had found out that Oriental Wine Co. had been producing false certifi- cates. The Chinese WHXHXHXXHX were warned not to be cheated by it.
