Description
MAY 30 (FRIDAY) P.3 1) CBA (VICTORIA). The committee members had already begun to carry out the decisions that were made on May 23 regarding Chinese Humiliation Day, "T- ". A meeting was held on May 29. reported that he had already contacted Drama Group, and was told that free perf- ormance was quite impossible because the whole drama group was now bought by a Chinese merchant from New York and the group would set off to U.S. in June. Thus funds had to be raised through other means. It was finally decided that CBA would request all Chinese associations in Victoria to give help in fund raising; in addition, 4 representatives would be sent out to raise funds from the Chinese stores.
