- APRIL 19 (H SATURDAY) P.3 1) News from New Westminster. . , & managed to raise $500 for Kai Ping High School from the distri/lct members in New Westminster. It was reported that there were not too many Kai Ping members there, but the result of the fund raising was really encouraging. P.3 2) 10 Chinese were arrested in a gambling joing in East Pender Street. The owner had to pay $50 bail while the gamblers had to pay $15. P.3 3) CKT (LETHBRIDGE). On April 14, a farewell party was extended to a dedicated member who was going back to China.
