- APRIL 10 (THURSDAY) P.3 1) The bureau for raising funds for Kai Ping High School (Bancouver). So far, $11000 was raised. The president of the fund raising bureau had donated $2500. P.3 2) The bureau for raising funds for Kai Ping High School (Toronto). The president was visiting Vancouver and had donated $2500. P.3 3) About 30 Chinese were arrested for gambling in Carrall Street. P.3 4) The Chinese Public School (Vancouver). was warmly welcomed by the teachers, and the students when he went there and made a speech. He encouraged the students to pay more attention to the Chinese languages. The students managed to raise $20.50 for Kai Ping High School.
