MARCH 24 (Monday) P.3 1) Shar Doey Mutual Society (Vancouver). Had offered to buy $1000 life insurance. P.3 2) News from Ottawa. The parliament meeting had already been held on Feb. 28. It was a pity that the head ambassador did not show up as requested by the vice ambassadoe . Seeing that was not likely to come over to Canda to assume his office, presented a letter of protest against the rest- rictive immigration law to the Canadian government on March 17 saying that in response to the discriminative treatments, many Chinese jour- nalists had decided to write some articles on the Canadian government's policy of exclusion. Their purpose was to let everybody know the unfair treatment that the Chinese were facing. P.3 3) (VANCOUVER) thanked those who had given donations for its opening ceremony.
