MARCH 17 (MondayO) P.2 1) Kai Ping members ( ) held a banquet on March 16 to welcome who came to Vancouver to raise funds for setting up Kai Ping High School. It was decided that a bureau for fund raising should be set up in Vancouver. Executives responsible for this talk were also elected. The presidents were (Vice.) In order to encourage donations, awards were given to the generaus donors. Arches or monuments would be built in the school garden to commemorate those who had donated $1500 whereas pictures would be kept in the school for those who had donated $5000. About $6115 were raised in the banquet. Door-to-door donations would be set out soon. j * - P.3 2) CKT (VICTORIA). On March 15, a memorial service for who was killed in a car accident during the 3rd general convention of CKT was held in CKT Reading Room.
