MARCH10 (Monday) P.3 1) A report of the opening ceremony of on March 9. Speeches were made by representatives from many Chinese associations. P.3 2) Chee Duck Tong (Vancouver) offered to buy $1000 insurance. P.3 3) Heung Shan members had elected as executives for CBA. P-3 4) (Vancouver). In reply to the request of CBA to send some executives to take charge of some affairs of the association as well as to raise funds for the General Hospital, a meeting would he held on March 10 at CBA. p.3 5) CKT (SAN FRANCISCO) An announcement was mdde by the president of Tai Tung Newspaper (The Chinese Republic Journal) to all headquarters and branches of CKT over the world, saying that since the 3rd general convention of CKT, the Chinese Republic Journal had been recognized as the newspaper for Hung Mun. Great improvements were made since then. The primary goal of the newspaper was to give prompt and precise information regarding Hung Mun all over the world so that the readers could feel a sense of unity when reading the app paper. It was established that there were about 400 Chee Kung Tongs and more than 2,000,000 members and thus with their help and enthusiasm, the news- paper would certainly be operated successfully. P.3 6) Dart Coon Club {VANCOUVER) announced that a $100 award would be given to the person for finding the one who tried to disgracd the association by writing to asking him to borrow $500 to the association.
