- March 8 (Saturday) P.3 1) The Vancouver Sun gave a report on the Chinese participation in the life insurance plan sponsored by the General Hospital. P.3 2) A report on the talk of Professor . He emphasized that the aim of his reseaach aa was to get a better knowledge of the life of E. Asians. A better understanding of their customs, habits and feelings might help to narrow the gap between themselves and the whites. The United Realty Department would hold a HEKXK& meeting on March 8,. P.3 4) Heung Shan members would hold a general meeting on March 9 at Shon Yee Association to elect new executive members for CBA. (This was requested by CBA.) P.3 5) 2 Chinese were arrested for owning gambling clubs and a few were fined for gambling.
