MARCH 3 (Monday) P.3 1) CBA (Vancouver), called for a general meeting to discuss how to help General Hospital to raise funds. The method was to join the life insurance plan sponsored by the Hospital. The money should be paid by installments. In case of death or completion of money payment, the Hospital would get all the money. It was known that the Japanese Canadians had been very enthusiastic in joining such plans. The Chinese were urged to give a hand to the General Hospital to wjom they were indebted $18,000. P.3 2) Ti Shing Shon Yee Association (Bancouver). In reply to the request to CBA about raising funds for General Hospital, a meeting was held on March 2. 2 representatives were chosen to attend the general meeting held by CBA. In addition, the association had decided to buy $1000 life insurance. BY p.3 3) (Vancouver). A 4th anniversary celebration was heli on March 2. Speeches were made by various representatives from the branches, p.2 4) CKT (Victoria). Wanted to make sure that , an executive member was the same one who published his repudiation against his tong in * the newspaper. was requested to report to the headquarter of any debts and crimes that he had committed.
