February 6 (Wednesday) P.3 1) More than $300,000 were raised by a number of cities along the Pacific coast in the U.S. to set up an association for investigating the affairs of the overseas East Asian immigrants in America. All data obtained from various cities would be sent to professor in the Sociology department of the University of Chicago for writing a book on the East Asians. Seeing that the anti-Asian tide was high in Van- couver, sent his student to Vancouver for a detailed investigation. She had been to the Chinese Times, the Chinese Consulate, , Theatre, and had also talked to about the affairs of CBA. She would also go to visit various Chinese stores and associations. The Chinese were advised to give her a favourable image of China. P.3 2) Dart Coon Club (Vancouver) held a spring festival banquet on Feb. 5. More than 100 people went to the banquet.
