- January 17 (KK Thursday) 1) CKT (Victoria) announced that who resigned his post as the treasurer had agreed to replace as was elected as whereas and were chosen as the accountants. )Names of the new executive. President: Vice: P.2 2) CKT ( P.3 3) A Chinese was charged for cheating the customs by removing stamps from registered cigarette parcels for later use. P.3 4) A Chinese crewman on board the Austrian Queen was caught for smuggling silk into Canada. P.3 5) 6 Chinese were arrested in a smoking den. P.3 6) (Winnipeg): A spring festival banquet and an office acceptance ceremony were held on January 13. About 200 people attended the ceremony. Speeches were made by the new executives. President: P.3 7) CKT (San Francisco & Victoria) Names of donors from Nanaimo.
