- Jan. 11 (Friday) P.I 1) A continuation of the discussion on the' unity of China. P.2 2) CKT (Vancouver). An announcement was made on Jan. 10 that a general meeting would be held on Jan. 13 to discuss about the realty development of the association. All members were welcome. P.3 3) A Chinese was fined $79 for mailing a package of potatoes without in- dicating their type. He was charged for violating the fruit and vegetable regulation. P.3 4) 3 Chinese were arrested for keeping aarcotics. They were bailed out at $5,000. P.3 5) CKT (Vernon, Armstrong). A 4th anniversary celebration and an office acceptance ceremony were held on Jan. 8. President: Speeches were made by the new executives. P.3 6) Dart Coon Club (Winnipeg). A spring festival banquet was held on Jan. 6 in CKT. The old and new presidents and the executives of CKT were invited to join the banquet. Speeches were made by the presidents of both associations. President: P.3 7) who came to Canada to recruit shareholders for thanked various Chinese associations, clan members and Consul general Lim for the hlep given to him in organizing the bank. P.3 8) CKT (San Francisco and Victoria) released the names of donors from Midicine Hat, Vancouver and Lethbridge. P.3 9) (Cranbrook) Names of the executives in 1924. President: P.3 10) (Vancouver). 2 announcements were made. a. The headquarter clarified the rumor that it had sent members to make trouble in the community. It further denounced those who » used the name of the association to stir up trouble. b. In a meeting held on Dec. 19, 1923, it was decided that should be expelled out of the association due to his violation of article 20 of the constitution.
