January 9 (Wednesday) P.I 1) An article on the unity of China. P.3 2) Ti Shing Shon Yee Association (Vancouver ). A meeting was held on Jan. 8 to K± welcome who was a Heung Shan member and who came abroad to recruit shareholders for the Overseas Chinese Realty Bank ( ). About 100 people attended the meeting, gave a talk on the organization and future of the bankl After that, commented on the relationship between such a bank and the improved living conditions in China. P.3 3) The fund raising bureau for Heung Shan Benevolent Hospital (Vancouver) announced that had accomplished her mission in raising funds in Centr^al Canada. She had gone back to Chicago now. The coOoperation and generosity of the Overseas Chinese in Canada were greatly appreaciated.
