December 29 P3 1) Consul General Lim made an announcement on Dec. 27 that was in connection with the bookeeping issue. He gave an interpretation of the law and stressed that it would not affect the majority of Chinese, however, if one was severely affected, he should contact him within 2 weeks so that measures could be taken. 2) Dart Coon Club Vancouver. An announcement that a meeting would be held on Dec. 29. 3) Chee Tak Tong Vancouver announced that a meeting would be held on Jan.l, 1924 to celebrate the Chinese Republic and to elect new executive members. 4) News from Nelson: A report on the love affair between a white girl and a Chinese boy which was opposed by the white parents. Elopment resulted and the police got involved into this.
