November 27 P3 1) Consul General Lim of Vancouver had sent a letter to the provincial govern- ment to protest against the proposal of forbidding the Chinese to employ white girls in restaurants and on Nov. 26 those discriminative terms brought forth in the B.C. Legislative Council were published. 2) CBA Vancouver. A meeting would be held to welcome the vice ambassador, from Ottawa who stopped by Vancouver enroute to China. 3) News from . 3 Chinese laundrymen were charged for working on Thanksgiving Day. 4) thanked his friends for helping him to go back to China for medical treatment. 5) Chee Kung Tong Duncan. The association had requested the H.Q. to call for fund raising for a member, so that he could go back to China. Most of the donations had already been sent to the association. It was hoped that those who had not yet sent in the funds would cooperate by sending it in promptly.
