November 7 P3 1) A continued report on the trial of . He was eventually sent- enced to death. 2) & were welcomed by Shon Yee Assoc. and the Heung Shan members in Calgary. Banquets were held for them. About $400 was raised to support Heung Shan Hospital. 3) Ko Wing Kan advertised that he provided services for claiming lost head tax receipts or solving problems that were concerned with new Chinese immigration law. 4) Names of shareholders from ftfontreal and for the realty of Chee Kung Tong in Vancouver. 5) News from Calgary. & were led by a number of clan members to go for door to door funds raising. The Heung Shan members were very enthusiastic and about $900 was raised. A meeting was later held in the Chinese Youth Association to welcome , etc. and speeches were made. 6) In the meeting of the 3rd general convention of Chee Kung Tong on Nov. 5, discussion concerning the establishment of a political party for the assoc. was made. The closing ceremony for convention was also planned. 7) Names of donors from to Chee Kung Tong in Victoria. GX 8) , an/executive for CBA in New Westminster for 20 years thanked the association for calling forth fund raising for him so that he could return to China.
