October 1.2 Pi 1) An article on the 3rd general convention of Chee Kung Tong in San Francisco. P2 2) Qiee Kung Tong of Vancouver announced that a celebration of the birthday of ancestor would be held October 17th and that new members would be admitted into the association on October 20th. 3) The Chinese Charity Assoc. in Kobe thanked the Chinese Canadians for donating money to help the Chinese victims in Japan. 4) The Chinese Public School of Vancouver held a celebration on Double Ten Day. A farewell party and welcoming party were at the same time given to teacher and respectively. A number of people attended the ceremony, e.g. Ambassddor Lim, Ambassador Wong, , and Foon Sien . Speeches were made by them re National Day. 5) The Chinese Public School of Vancouver gave name list of donors wbst to the school.
