October 8 P3 1) gave a farewell party for Ambassador Lim on Oct. 7, who would go to take the post of chief Chinese Ambassador in Ottawa soon. 2) celebrated the birthday of Confucius on October 6th. 3) School (organized by Chee Kung long of Victoria) had also cele- brated birthday of Confucius on October 6th. Speeches concerning the idology of Confucius were made by the principal and the super- visor 4) The Chinese Public School (organized by the CBA) besides holding a celebration for the birthday of Confucius, had also held a graduation ceremony for the students. 5) in Nanaimo announced that an opening ceremony would be held on November 11. All members in the H.Q. and branches were invited to attend the ceremony. 6) Names of donors from Kamloops, & to Chee Kung Tong of Victoria.
