Septmber 26 Pi 1) The overseas Chinese in U.S. and Canada were praised for helping their fellow members in Japan. A number of Chinese victims had been shipped to America through their help. P3 2) An. anniversary celebration was held by Chee Kung Tong of Saulte Ste. Marie on Sept. 16. Representatives from other branches attended. Toasts were sent by the Chinese Times, , Chee Kung Tongs in Vic., Van., Saskatoon and various other places. P3 3) Vice-ambassador Lau cleared the rumor that he said that Ambassador Chau would be replaced by another person if he did not return to Ottawa.
