Description
September 18 P3 1) Due to financial difficulty, principal of the Chinese Public School had proposed the setting up of to raise funds. 2) wrote to Chee Kung Tong in Victoria that many political leaders in China had great concern for the coming general convention in San Francisco. They hoped to gain cooperation and support from Chee Kung Tong. He added that he had been chosen as the representative to go to the convention on October 10. As for the appeal against the new Chinese immigration law, this issue had been brought up in the Congress and a conclusion would be made soon. 3) Chee Kung Tong in Victoria announced on Sept. 15 that all members had to pay their registration fee by September 30 in order that their names could be released during the general convention.
